Project brief

This venture involved the meticulous refurbishment of two buildings within the air force base. The scope encompassed comprehensive mechanical, architectural, and structural enhancements, elevating infrastructure standards to meet evolving needs.

Challenges

Larrakon's Group encountered multifaceted challenges:

Works were conducted in a restricted area;

Works were over the wet season, so additional measures were put in place as external works were required;

Building was attached to a fuel station which posed complications as fuel bowsers were required to remain operational

Solutions

In response to these challenges, Larrakon's Group implemented innovative solutions.

Strategic project planning

By meticulously coordinating schedules and allocating resources, we optimised efficiency while safeguarding project integrity.

Streamlined documentation processes

Efficient documentation management facilitated seamless project progression and handover.

Compliance and clearance assurance

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and securing necessary clearances was paramount to project success.

Staged works execution

Adopting a staged approach to works execution enabled us to minimise access limitations and maintain operational continuity.
