Challenges

  • Works were conducted in a restricted area
  • Works were over the wet season, so additional measures were put in place as external works were required
  • Building was attached to a fuel station which posed complications as fuel bowsers were required to remain operational

Solutions

  • Strict project planning was in place to mitigate any risks
  • Documentation was managed as the project progressed to streamline handover
  • All trades had relevant compliance and clearance for site access
  • Works were split over multiple stages to reduce access limitations as much as possible
